Terms of Sale

Last updated: 5 August 2026

These terms govern your use of dog-ball-launcher.co.uk and any purchase you make on it. By placing an order, you agree to them. They apply to sales made to consumers in the United Kingdom only. Where the site shows an email sign-up instead of a checkout, the product is not yet on sale and no order can be placed.

1. Who you are buying from

FetchMate is the trading identity of Loïc Chiappini EI, a French sole trader (entrepreneur individuel), SIREN 107 302 911, registered at 8 boulevard Jeanne d'Arc, 13005 Marseille, France. Contact: contact@dog-ball-launcher.co.uk.

We are a trader established in France selling to consumers in the United Kingdom. This does not reduce your rights: the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to distance sales to UK consumers.

2. The product

We sell a single product: the FetchMate Automatic Ball Launcher. Product information on this site reflects the specifications published in the manufacturer's manual. Where a figure could not be verified against that documentation, we do not publish it — our approach is described on the how we verify page.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and are final: no VAT is charged or recoverable, as the seller benefits from the French small-business VAT exemption (article 293 B of the French Code général des impôts). Delivery within the UK is free and included in the displayed price. We may change prices at any time, but you always pay the price displayed when you placed your order. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and refund you in full.

4. Ordering and payment

Payment is taken at the time of order and processed securely by Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We never see or store your full card details. Stripe emails you a receipt automatically; if it hasn't arrived within an hour, check your spam folder or contact us.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the United Kingdom only. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days from stock held in the UK, and delivery takes 3–8 working days in total from order. A tracking number is emailed to you at dispatch. These timings are estimates, not guarantees; under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if we have not delivered within 30 days of your order you may cancel it and receive a full refund. Full details in our Shipping Policy.

6. Cancellation and returns

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period from the day you receive the goods, no reason needed. On top of that, we offer a commercial 30-day return window from delivery, for the complete product. Return postage is at your cost unless the product is faulty. Refunds are issued within 14 days of our receiving the return. Email us before posting anything back — the process, conditions and return address procedure are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy.

7. Faulty goods — your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the product must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described, and reasonably durable. If it is not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or a refund, depending on the circumstances and timing. Where the product is faulty, return costs are on us. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

8. Liability

The launcher is a consumer product for domestic use with dogs; follow the safety instructions in the manual, including never placing hands in the launch opening while the machine is on. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your order. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Complaints and governing law

If something goes wrong, email contact@dog-ball-launcher.co.uk first — we aim to resolve complaints within 14 days. You can also seek guidance from your local Citizens Advice. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business evolves. The version that applies to your order is the one in force on the date you placed it; the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
