Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 August 2026

This page explains, in plain English, what personal data dog-ball-launcher.co.uk collects, why, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The short version: we collect very little, and we track nothing.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Loïc Chiappini EI (SIREN 107 302 911), 8 boulevard Jeanne d'Arc, 13005 Marseille, France, trading as FetchMate. Contact: contact@dog-ball-launcher.co.uk.

What we collect, and when

If you email us or join the launch list: your email address and whatever you choose to write. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or your consent for the launch list. The launch list is used for one purpose — telling you when ordering opens — not for a recurring newsletter, because we don't run one.

If you place an order: the details needed to fulfil it — your name, delivery address, email address and payment confirmation. Payment itself is handled entirely by Stripe; your card details never reach us and we could not see them if we wanted to. Legal basis: performance of the contract, and legal record-keeping obligations.

What we don't do: no customer accounts, no automatic newsletter sign-up, no profiling, and we never sell, rent or share your data for marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are actually useful. It is the only measurement tool here, and it is set to deny by default: no analytics cookie is stored until you press "Accept all" in the banner. Your IP address is anonymised.

Declining costs you nothing — not browsing, not ordering. There are no advertising cookies, no social buttons and no profiling. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will come back.

Our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse; these identify no one and require no consent.

How long we keep things

Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Order records are kept for the periods required by tax and consumer law. Launch-list addresses are deleted on request, or once the launch email has served its purpose.

Your rights under the UK GDPR

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to port it, or to withdraw consent (for example, leaving the launch list). Email contact@dog-ball-launcher.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Since we hold so little data, don't expect drama here.
