Terms and conditions — Dog Ball Launcher UK
Terms of sale for dog-ball-launcher.co.uk under UK consumer law. Pricing, delivery, returns, warranty, dispute resolution.
Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 2 May 2026 Applicable to: all sales made on dog-ball-launcher.co.uk to UK consumers, from the public launch date onwards.
These terms apply once the launcher is on sale. The site is currently in pre-launch — only the waitlist signup is active.
1. Parties
These terms govern the contract between Dog Ball Launcher (“we”, “us”, “the seller”, published by Loïc Chiappini) and the customer (“you”, “the buyer”) for any purchase made on dog-ball-launcher.co.uk.
2. Products
We sell a single product: a compact automatic dog ball launcher (model DBL-001), with full specifications detailed on the product page. All information on the site (descriptions, photos, dimensions, weights, distances) is provided in good faith and reflects the actual product as tested by 220 UK beta testers between 2025 and 2026.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) inclusive of all applicable UK taxes at the rate in force on the day of order. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but you’ll always pay the price displayed when you placed your order.
The launch price is £79.99 for the compact automatic dog ball launcher with three 2-inch balls included.
4. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed online through our checkout (powered by Stripe), available at launch. We accept:
- All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Payment is taken at the time of order. Your card details are processed entirely by Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 — we never see or store your full card number.
An order confirmation is emailed automatically. If you don’t receive it within 1 hour, check your spam folder or email us.
5. Delivery
- Free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery across the UK mainland
- Estimated delivery: 3 to 5 working days from order date
- Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland: 4 to 7 working days
- Tracking number sent by email at dispatch
If your parcel hasn’t arrived after 10 working days, email us and we’ll investigate immediately.
6. Right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
You have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period to cancel your order from the day you receive the goods, no reason needed.
On top of that, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — extended beyond your statutory rights. If your dog doesn’t take to the launcher after up to 30 days of use, email us and we’ll send you a prepaid Royal Mail return label. Once we receive the launcher (used is fine, as long as it still works), we refund you in full within 7 working days.
Excluded from the 30-day guarantee:
- Launchers physically damaged through misuse (chewed, dropped from height, water-damaged beyond normal outdoor use)
- Launchers returned without the original 3 balls included (please return them all)
7. Warranty (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
In addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we offer a 2-year commercial warranty on parts and labour, starting from the delivery date.
If your launcher fails within 2 years (mechanical, electronic, or battery fault), email us with your order number and a description (or short video) of the issue. We send a replacement within 48 hours with a prepaid return label for the faulty unit. No need to ship your faulty unit first.
Excluded from the warranty:
- Damage from misuse, drops over 1 metre, water immersion
- Wear and tear of the included balls (consumable, replaceable separately)
- Customer-modified launchers
Your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law are unaffected.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of your order, except where unlawful under UK consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
9. Dispute resolution
In case of any dispute, please contact us first at contact@dog-ball-launcher.co.uk. We aim to resolve all complaints amicably within 14 days.
If we can’t reach an agreement, you can take the matter to:
- Trading Standards via your local Citizens Advice (advice line: 0808 223 1133)
- The County Court (England and Wales) for amounts up to £10,000 via the small claims track
These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
10. Updates
These terms may be updated as the business grows (legal entity formalisation, additional payment methods, additional shipping zones). The version applicable to your order is the one in force on the date you placed it. Significant changes will be flagged at the top of this page.
